RESEARCH ASSISTANT & SCIENCE WRITER
This Science Writer & Editor is expected to cover cutting-edge theories in science. The ideal candidate is an individual who has a passion for making a difference in the lives of people in China and around the world. Reporting to the director of KQID Engine and Creation Institute. Remote work is an option for this role.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required; major in English, communications or journalism preferred
- Full time online or print writing experience preferred
- Willing to learn and master new theories and paradigms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
- Demonstrated expertise in English grammar, syntax, punctuation, word usage, and reference resources for fact-checking
- Interested in Chinese history/Chinese traditional culture a plus
- Multidisciplinary academic backgrounds in both science and humanities a plus
Candidate will be expected to provide writing samples, examples of technical documents, newsletters and/or publications.
